Honestly, I don't shoot for pace targets, since 7:00 pace could feel easy one day and hard the next.  I shoot for efforts.  Generally speaking, the shorter the intervals, the harder the effort.  I don't adjust my effort based on conditions.

That's the way to do it!

Same. My wife got the news alert before I did. I was speechless. In the sports world I can’t think of anyone this big dying so young and so suddenly. This is like Princess Di level.

Thanks, all! You know how I always say the HM is my favorite distance? This really shows it.  (Really, I was laughing at my friend who was yelling at me to hurry up and get away from the second place female, but same difference.)
