How sad that this race started because a little boy died - but how wonderful that the family found a way to do something good with their grief. Also, I don't think I knew about your wife and child. How terrible. I'm so sorry. *hugs*

That's great that you make an effort to support this cause, and I'm sure that the family would be very appreciative of your dedication to their race. I'm surprised they're going to change it to a color run - that seems like it'd be a lot more expensive to put on. Of course, it's likely to draw some more runners in too. Those pictures look pretty quintessentially Texas to me!
