WednesDAILIES: How long would it take before you pulled a sidearm out of the nightstand and blasted this thing to smithereens? (Read 65 times)

6 miles finished at the I'm so tired that I need a rest day pace.

    Personal Bests:

    800M - 2:38 (5/28/13) | 1 Mile -5:54 (5/28/13) | 3K - 11:55 (12/29/12) | 2M - 13:00 (12/1/12) | 5K - 20:00 (4/12/13) | 13.1M - 1:37:24 (2/3/13)

      Hi dailies:

I'd just walk out of the room and let that thing keep blaring.

Today will be brought to you by the letters  LR  ..... and an ice bucket for the ALS due to the BNAC, SMH.

I feel the same way.  I assume it's because we change gaits and/or run slower there?  I get to run outside tomorrow because I am working from home so I can run at 6am (not too early, not too late). Looking forward to not hurting my knee, ha.

For me I eventually figured out that I was running a tad too far back from the console which encourages you to over stride trying to keep up with the stupid belt.

The solution? Run right on top of the console which forces you to run centered over your feet, problem solved.  At least for me anyway.

8:21 ? I have been at work for over an hour and a half by then.

Mind you I could pick the next number in the Fibonacci series in my sleep.

Pfffttt, I have been at the office since 7.  Hope the cats know the answer.

I think I would just learn to sleep with the alarm going off.

Wednesday RD for me today. Smile  Yesterday I made the stupid mistake of going out in the midday full sun AGAIN.  Hopefully I learned my lesson this time- mornings or evenings for me for a while.

I run at the top of the console. I always have problems eating the SOLE logo. Ha.

This helps.  My problem is that there's a jack zip-tied to the left rail for tunes, and I've accidentally punched that damn thing hard enough to draw blood on multiple occasions.

                Brrrrrrr

                Uffda

RD here too. I'm transitioning back in to running more, so I just had 2 days on so it's time for at least one day off. DD#2 had a good night of sleeping. She actually only woke up around 2:30/3ish, but she was difficult to get back to sleep. So even though we only fed her once over night, it was a team effort to get her back to bed.

I work at a silly place. They just did some sprint races in the hallway. I decided not to partake in it. The idea of sprinting without a warm up mile sounds like a pulled quad in the making.

I posted last week how everyone at work ran through the parking lot in a torrential downpour to close the windows on their vehicles.  Except the lone runner in the building who walked.

Hey I ran 8 miles that morning, I had nothing to prove.

I might have participated if they made it a little longer than about a 40 yard sprint and did it in the parking lot instead of inside the building. A 40 yard dash = a drag race. The person with the fastest start has a 75% chance of winning. I am not willing to risk a pulled quad. Like you said, nothing to prove. They did give $50 to the winner though. That would have been nice.

I feel the same way whenever someone here take the stairs up the 12 floors.  I am running tonight, I'll burn that by Mile 1.  Oh, and last time I had to take the stairs (elevators were down), I almost got a huge attack due to mold/asbestos in the stairs, so no need for me to get extra cancerous air in the name of burning 30 calories.

For $50, I would sacrifice!  You could have taken 5 minutes prior and warm up somehow!  You would've won!  Or at least be breathing like nothing while the winner passes out afterwards.

I just found a peanut sauce to try while dining out a million years after you gave me that one recipe that I have not made yet.  Wish me luck!
