On the road again...
I write. I read. I run. One time, I ran a lot on my 50th birthday.

I finally gave up trying to control the HR and just ran at an easy pace.
I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it. dgb2n@yahoo.com
Man, have I been busy. Speaking is my main gig and this week has been full of it, which is cool. I have still gotten my runs in, but haven't been able to get on the boards much, and I miss ya'll. From what I can see, looks like most everyone is feeling okay, maybe a cough here or there, but overall it sounds good. This week has been good, but my run yesterday had my HR all over the map - I wasn't running any faster than normal, but it was in the 70s. I finally gave up trying to control the HR and just ran at an easy pace. Got in just under 5 and today will be my long run. I'm looking to run/walk 12 miles at an 8/1 ratio. Enjoy the day, everybody! MTA: The temps were in the 70s, not my HR. I can only dream of easy runs with an AHR in the 70s.....
ok just got back from one of my worst runs in awhile. I woke up with some serious pain in my upper back/ shoulder blade area. It never got better. I thought maybe I could run easy and it would loosen up. Nope. Longest 12 miles ever.
