          Dave,
You might have noticed that the "Reports" link on the groups is gone. Of course, I could log stalk everyone individually....
I ran 9.2 miles today just because of your log stalking. Crap, I better start streaking again. MTA: Or you could just make fun of me when I run < 40.="" />Erika Great job on hitting your mileage goal! I ran 1800, but no miles goals. P2R, Glad you are feeling better. Happy New Year Cash, Even with no shower, thought you smelled great. Kimmie, Really nice 10K after just doing a hard 5K. You got the right stuff. Three tough runs in one week, wow. Shan, You're the youngest one here so you must have had a huge hangover this morning right? Wink Crazy nice weather here, I know it won't last but sure was nice, especially running on biking path with no ice.

haha I was the DD last night so I only had 1 glass of wine.

I didn't run today. We slept in late and I spent the day cleaning up crap. This house is a disaster. I have a full bag of trash, a bunch of recycling, and a box for goodwill. Amazing. All this crap was just lying around cluttering up the place. It's still a mess, but better. Most horizontal surfaces are covered with something.... I'll run tomorrow. I'm glad Lou's posting here. He's one of my favorite people and sometimes it's scary how much we (I'm including his wife Predawnrunner too) agree on! And I like the "all the snarkiness without the porn" description. Seems to work.

Yes WRFB and PreDawn Runner are good people and fun. Taught an hour of spin, then an hour of box jumps, squat jumps with medicine ball, squat thrusts and sit ups, crunches with 10 pound medicine ball, oh and planks on the flat side up of the bosu ball. My abs don't like me tonight.
Murphy, you still have time to go run it again!
I thought about it. But didnt get to hotel until about 10pm. So we went out for New Years. Got 4 miles in on the boardwalk. My ankles were killing me..probably from the effort yesterday. Felt better by the time I was about done. Gonna run in the morning and hit the beach before heading home. The game was a dud, but a fun experience

                  Happy Camper

Back to work for me today. Longest break I've had in forever. Nearly two weeks off. Decided I did not want the year to begin with a vacation day so I am up to get in some core work before the run. Weekend is mine and Saturday is supposed to be mid 50's. Great temp for getting the lights off the roof and decorations put away. Sunday DS1 goes back to Virginia and then heads for Hawaii. It's good to see him doing well. We most likely won't see him again for 18 months and he will be missed.

Determination: The feeling you get right before you try something incredibly stupid.

Our work is open today, too -- predawnrunner and I work at the same company. She's a little short on PTO because she need to take off more than I do -- her dad is in a nursing home and gets sick on occasion -- so she is going in for half a day today while I laze about. Afterwards, we're flying to Austin for the weekend to see my son -- we haven't seen him in over a year. Erika and Cash - very nice of you to say. Erika - you are inspiring me -- I need to work on my desk, I think. Cash - that's quite a workout -- I still need to figure out how to get some core work in to my week without losing more sleep. I'll run a few recovery miles in a bit, then I have some errands to run before we leave. MTA: 3.1 miles, 28:51, 9:11/mi, AHR 135 Not sure if I'll get 40 this week due to skipped run Tuesday and travel.

I'm giddy Big grin Enjoy the trip to Austin, Lou. Murph, a dud? What I watched looked pretty good but then again I'm an ACC guy. OOOhhh, Cincinnati. Nevermind. 4 easy miles for me yesterday. Working this morning so I'm not sure what I'll do mileage-wise. It'll probably be a short day for both work and miles. On track for at least 40 this week though.

I ran a mile and I liked it, liked it, liked it.

                        Oh Mighty Wing

Erica - looks like we both started off the year with no running. Cash - all the stuff you do has created an image of a muscly hunk in my mind. Murphy - even if the game wasn't exciting I hope you had a very nice time!! Pace - that's a nice chunk of time off! I'm glad you got to see your son! How long was he home for? WRFB - How nice you will get to see your son!! I hope you and PD enjoy the trip! Dave - that was NOT a recovery run. Just so we are clear. Wink So yesterday my friend asked me what my new years resolution is and I've been thinking about it ever since - I got nothing.
                          Kimmie

Good morning everyone! Went out for what was supposed to be an easy 6 but it felt a bit faster than that. I hope I'm not dying tomorrow. Dave and Bugs, are you sure you're not training for a full marathon? shan, I too picture Cash as a strong muscley type- no picture, Cash? and welcome to WRFB... I look forward to getting to know you!

Good Morning Guys and Gals.. Little time to write, but quick question. If you slept like crap (turn and toss because you're sore, tight, and ran a bunch the last two days) do you run a recovery jog today, easy XT or day off?

initial reaction: take a day off. you have been running a lot lately.
