Four miles on some nearby trails
You got 'em. Let the anticipation begin.

I had 5 miles on the schedule today but I didn't feel like running 5 miles and I ran 8.4 miles instead. Nice and easy, and I felt good after racing a HM yesterday.

That Death Thingy
Ran a short 3 miles through the neighborhood before hitting the gym to teach an hour of BODYPUMP™. I’ll be spending the rest of the day at my dad’s house cleaning the junk out of the VW van. I hope I don’t pull some kind of unknown muscle in my back or shoulders.

16.2 hilly miles with 7 marathon pace. Felt good!

Swam 2250 yards at the YMCA . Just two swims this week, total 4050 yards.
If I could make a wish I think I'd pass
Paced the first half of a marathon today at 3:50; eased up a little after handing off to the second half pacer, but kept going to finish the whole race at 3:54. It was a small field and that ended up getting me 2nd AG.
73 miles for the week.

That’s awesome, Dave.
I ran about 6.5 with a couple of friends early this morning. Temps dropped into the low 30s, but there’s still pollen everywhere. Our faces were red, itchy, and splotchy after.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Great running, Dave!

Took Duncan to the Savannah Bananas game today.
It was a mile each way from the car to the stadium, which I will count as today's workout.

I’ve heard it is super hard to get tickets!
30,000 + steps today according to my Garmin, none of it running. But we navigated the cherry blossom crowds successfully (which I hadn't even thought about when we scheduled this trip) and saw every monument and memorial around the National Mall. I saw so many runners I felt like a failure "just" walking 10 or so miles with the family over the course of the day. We couldn't have asked for much better weather. The wind had a bite early in the day, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
20,000 miles behind me, the world still to see.
That sounds super fun.
