      Pirate, go for it!!!

Be a good sport, do your exercise at home and you will see the difference.

How do I know? I had a torn meniscus once, which resulted in knees that needed big time surgery....knees torn that  bad Black eye bad ski crush

..doctors said..only way to fix is surgery.

..PT said to me...give me 6 months and if I can't fix it, then have your surgery...

Listened to PT, did my homework as other's said here and now I remain surgery free and well, seven years later.

Great success story, Mari! Love hearing those Smile

As Rosie said earlier, comfortable sweat pants and a t-shirt should be fine. You won't be working up a sweat (at least not aerobically). Good luck!

Good luck Tom. I can't add more than has been said. Had PT this morning and I continue my stretches at home. There's definitely a big improvement and I need restraint to not run prematurely but I WiLL RUN AGAIN!

...thanks henry//..........I'd throw in something about you Being An Inspiration,

I have said this for many years to others about PT as my number one rule.  No matter what exercises or routines they give you to do, do them faithfully and a few more.   Good luck.  Spareribs

...thanks ribbs//..........my Mentee says she had 45-min every day of exercises to do for just her Hamstring

no idea how much time will be involved,

                      but

I plan to do it  to the letter.......not sure if I get ExtraCredit for Extra Reps.

..nothing takes the place of persistence.....

                        ..ok, I had

what felt like a FlareUp Friday,,,,,,,,,rather than skip my PT exercises,

                         I modified

                        them to less reps

.(which is tough when it's 3)

                        and cut back

on how long I held them (supposed to be 20-30-seconds)

I guess using very tight muscles this is to be expected.

                        but

                        I don't really know

( and my next appt is Tues)

Is that how it's supposed to work?????

Maybe call the PT next time you have a flareup, and just ask, rather than wait it out through the weekend? Hoping things are feeling better soon...

...thanks OM//.......I'll ask tomorrow,,,,,,,just wanting some ideas to run by her.

Sorry, I really don't know, since I haven't had exactly your issues and symptoms. And as much as I might know things about the body, I'm not a physical therapist. I only know how to guess "real good".

Wow, this is really helpful! I have my first PT appointment ever for some nagging sacral-iliac issues. Good to hear from Tom that it might not be that easy to do what they ask.
