Carolyn
Time once again to post your monthly mileage totals, AG awards, PRs, and anything else you'd like to share!
Awards given as usual for most miles, fewest miles, average, median, and prime numbers. (and I'll probably be very late posting awards, as usual...)
This month's picture is from a group trail run last weekend near Palmer Lake, Colorado. Running in the fog is really cool.
I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
Great picture! Love how you can get these group runs for the terrain and distances you run. I bet it makes a huge difference not only safety, but just having others out there with you for company!
Had a good May, glad to have it end on a Sunday!
May 244.6 with one race, a 5k, and 1st in AG
2015 YTD is 1,050.7
Trails are hard!
Happy June 1 and thanks to you, Carolyn.
92.6 miles this month. had some intentions on triple figures, but a tweaked ankle took care of that thought. Still more than last month by enough to keep me happy.
25K trail race that becomes my PR and an easy one to try and improve. Another PR in that I was DFL in my AG for the first time.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.
Thanks again for doing this, Carolyn, and for another in a series of great photos!
124.6 RW miles in May

110 for May
220 for the month and 1011 for the year (I think, my training log is down today).
Just did one race, 25K trail race early in the month, 5th overall, 1st AG. I did a 5K time trial a couple weeks later and blew up (ran slower than my half marathon pace), and the next day a 6.4 mile relay leg but at threshold effort. The rest of the month after the 25K was almost all recovery, but did a couple hill workouts. Not feeling spry at all since early May. A lot going on with the move and things.
Onward.
Planning on Garden of the Gods 10 mile in a couple weeks.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
