A race hard enough in normal conditions, but in that heat and humidity? You're a tough cookie, Holly. Your decision to not try a 50 miler during the summer is probably a wise one. Great job.
Very good report and I really admire you finishing the race. I can't handle the mental aspect of running in the heat. When I get dizzy and light headed I honestly think it is the end of the road for me, and then I get a panic attack thinking about everything I wish I had got in order before kicking the bucket.
