Marathon Maniac #957
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Another year, another 40/40 thread. Thanks, Holly!

Didn't go all out but, ouch, I've got work to do. Good baseline.
Be safe. Be kind.
I'm in.

Hoping to join this thread soon, but recovering from an abdominal strain I got this Fall. Just getting back and dont think I am going to quite make 40 this week - hopefully close to 35 as I try to get my long run up.
Hello again! Marathon recovery went very well and paid attention to that as the Tucson course was tougher than I expected. Think I can make it to 40 this week now that I'm this far into it.

Thanks Holly! Sorry, I'm late again. This is a scheduled cut-back week so I won't make 40, but here's my schedule, anyway...
