Blackberry pie...mmmmmm......
Since DD was at church camp on her birthday, we had agreed to have her 13th Birthday Party this weekend. (I almost cancelled it, given the other night, but we came to an understanding.) She will have friends over for a cookout from 6-9, and then 4 of the girls will spend the night for a slumber party. Cleaning and cooking is on the agenda for my Saturday.
20 miles for me on Friday in 62-70 degrees.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
