Thanks, folks. Honestly, this came as a bit of a surprise given my endless taper and being just 2 weeks out from the marathon (though Ribs did suggest the possibility of a strong race). Interesting learning experience since it seems to contradict what I thought was supposed to be a vulnerable time after a marathon and the need to ease up, etc. etc. Of course, again, weather played a key role. I love those races in the 30s! Enke--yeah, I'm in BQ territory now for the full, so I guess there's no excuse not to target that as my new MP. We'll see.

I'm late to this party too. Nice performances for both you and DW - Congratulations! You're one strong runner these days, and you do seem to excel at these cold-weather races.
