Marathon Maniac #957

As But she did slow down and near the end we got together and she held my hand as we finished off the race.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I guess you caught me, Tramps. There's no race to report- I treated it as a well-assisted training run. I registered for this last Fall, so despite my lack of mileage (I've been running 20 mile weeks), I gave it a go. 3:52:53: 8:54 m/m, about my easy run pace.

I get it.  Still, not too shabby there, Walt!  Took me a couple of tries with actual training to turn in a time a like that!  Keep that base going; when you've got a chance to train well, you'll be flying.

      Be safe. Be kind.
