    Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

      Been a little hectic with family issues but this week should be "normal".

      40.9 - just squeezed over the line.

        Consistently Slow

          Will rest the knee this week.

           Sunday 4.2 miles.Slipped on sidewalk.Twisted the knee slightly.Plan is to hit 40 this coming  week.

          Run until the trail runs out.

              T - 6 / 7 / 13 - Easy - This was going to be speed, but I put it off until Wednesday

              W - 6 / 18.5 - 4x1 mile @ 5:49

              TH - 10.5 / 6 / 4 - easy

              F - 9 / 33 "Nothing But Hill Repeats" - Grinding the hill

              S - 11 / 5 easy

              SU - 50k on track / 8 easy

               

              183 miles in 24 Hours 34 Minutes

               

              This was max week (Actually max = 160) - Foot is unhappy from 4:45 straight of hill pounding.

               

              Not sustainable training for a 43 year old - Next week will be a 80-85% week and then a big cutback to 60-65% to reset.

              Long dead ... But my stench lingers !
