    Dennis - if the doc said no running for 6 weeks, maybe you should avoid slow jogging, too.  I know that several summers ago I did not heed my doctor's advice, and ended up making an injury last nearly a year, when it could have been gone in 6 weeks if I had let it heal.

     

    Thank you! I did go out Saturday and do a 5K. I started in the very back with walkers, I was hoping for 30 minutes or so. Heck, I felt GREAT! I ran 25:16. Couldnt believe how great I felt. It's been 3 weeks, and I was faithful to physical therapy twice a week and stretching. Still gonna bike & walk all this week, and then jog Coldwater's 5K next weekend. (My Hometown). I bought a new bike at the Kettering Bike Shop last week and Im really enjoying the biking.
