40/40 Thread for Week Ending 4/3/11 (Read 750 times)

Thanks Holly, I know I've been AWOL for a few weeks, on vacation to Arizona which was wonderful and then back home to finish up the new fireplace that was done while we were away.  I ended up doing the finish work and of course that included re-painting the walls and ceilings too!

Not sure if I'll get in 40 this week or not.  I've been having some issues with my hip and I'm trying to take it a little easy during the taper for Boston.

    Consistently Slow

True... but see technically I'm a first timer as well. I've run longer training runs (my longest was 26.2), but this is my first half marathon race. I've only done a couple 5k's so far, ever.

Makes it easier to PR the next time.Smile

Run until the trail runs out.

              an amazing likeness

Slow start to the week for me, trying to get soreness from last Sunday's 20-miler out of the legs. Some stupid scheduling on my part, ended up with a half-marathon on the calendar for today, with last week's in March and today's in April, it didn't click that these were back to back. Makes for a funky week....
