I'm 56 years old and I still don't know what I want to do.  I just know I don't care for what I'm doing...but I don't know how to do anything else...and I don't know if I would like it any better if I did know how to do anything else.  Am I 56 or 57?

    I loved David's answers.

Dave...I have often wondered about professional bowlers.  It just seems that, if your job is to bowl, and you spend 8 hours a day bowling...you would think you'd never miss, wouldn't you?  I know there's a whole lot more to it...different oil patterns...lane variations...there must be other stuff...but still, it couldn't be that hard, could it?

    Okay--that's it--gotta go.  See ya!

As to college and majors . . . I may get in trouble here but I suspect too many people are encouraged to go to college.  There are any number of rewarding (financial and otherwise) that do not require a college education.

Amen brother and I love you for saying this, considering your chosen profession. As an Employment Specialist for my state, I saw too many people who were pushed to pursue higher education, received their degree and now they are facing a pile of student loan to only see that their friends, who went the technical degree route are in higher demand than they are. Please don't take me wrong. I am an advocate for higher education, but maybe it is the time we start looking at the German education system, technical path or the gymnasium path. Both of them leads to good jobs.

Running, I did 5 miles today during lunch and then I went to the gym today to do some gym diva workout.

6.5 mile progressive pace run on the treadmill tonight. And that, I hope, is the last treadmill run for me for awhile... hopefully at least a week! It's not going to be "warm" (by our standards even) for a few days, but it should be above zero and that's good enough for me!

I have a crush on someone at work, but not sure how to flirt without everyone knowing....I think he got word that I am single as he has been checking me out lately.

If single, I would be too.

          I love David.

As an apprentice DIYer, I decided to do our taxes over the weekend. We're getting about $4,000,000.00 back.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Dang!  We should have had Steve do our taxes!  We OWE $12,000!  I have no idea where we're going to come up with twelve thousand dang dollars.

Oh--and I see an ad has popped up, here...it must be time to pay my RA bill, too.
