New skirt in town

The Lir on Boylston

We will have the upstairs room for ourselves. We'll be serving some carb-laden goodies (I'm working on the menu with the manager now) and, of course, plenty of Sam Adams 26.2 Brew, the new beer brewed especially for this year's race, with coriander and salt. Cheers!

I'll be springing for the party, so no one worry about stopping by. If you could give me a rough guesstimate if you are coming, that would help me plan better. If you are so moved to want to contribute to the partay, please consider making a donation to the Melanoma Foundation of New England instead. You can donate on my web site (http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/robin-travers/RunningforCover_Boston_2012) or at the party, or NOT AT ALL! Do not feel obligated!

Trails are hard!
Robin--you are indeed the Hostess with the Mostest!! Please count me in for the partay.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.
Oh my. Thanks for putting this together Robin and please count me in.

You are fabulous Robin. THANK YOU
I plan on being there and will be more than happy to donate to such a good cause as well. I don't know if I've ever told the group, but my beloved Dr J is a Derm-Path and also a melanoma survivor. She would have been in corral 9 in the second wave----signed up for Boston after her first stroke never dreaming she would have another one in October and then other set-backs. Undaunted, she is back at work part-time and runs up to 3 miles on the treadmill now. Running Boston again may never happen, so I'll do it in her honor.
All of that that to say it seems like the perfect convergence----the marathon and supporting a super cause that is also a shared profession.
Thanks again Robin!
I won't be at Boston this year, but wanted to pop in to say I'll be with Robin in spirit - because a close friend's daughter was just diagnosed with melanoma at age 25. Boo. I'll be donating as well ...

Really--I had no idea Dr J is a Derm-path! My best friend, Mimi, is a derm-path as well. I'm in corral 9 in the second wave, so I'll be thinking of her!

Will be there, with Pro and his house guests
We will be cheering the runners on at Mile 20 at Commonwealth and Center St again this year, anyone who is watching is welcome to join us there.
Thanks Robin!
My DH and I will be there, and I dream to talk other folks who are not running to be there as well!

If I could find some way to run a HM in NYC in the morning, then be in Boston by the afternoon, I'd love to be there!
