Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way - Run often and run long, but never outrun your Joy of running!
"Some are the strong, silent type. You can't put your finger on exactly what it is they bring to the table until you run without them and then you realize that their steadiness fills a hole that leaks energy in their absence." - Kristin Armstrong
I limped around all day yesterday, so there was NOOO way I could run last night. Still a little sore this morning, but the calf and leg pain does feel better...thank goodness. I think after my 1/2M PR last Weds with a track workout, and runs after that caught up with me. Then Sat I pushed through on a tough 20 miler on tired - heavy legs, then 10 more on Sun. I imagine that what a bit too much (shouldn't have been)..but knowing when to push through, or not is tricky while training for a Marathon for the first time. I think I will be able to run easy tonight, but will have to watch speed work till my pain is gone.
Be safe. Be kind.

I just love choir so much.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
