Pain is my friend
Anyone out there get Covid? I am fully vaccinated and got Covid. It started as a sore throat and head cold. Then got worse. Chills and fever. Kicked my butt for a few days. No energy to run. I went from running 70 miles one week to 3 miles being hard. I am doing tons better now. Taking it easy. I still feel it in my lungs a bit. I am one week out from the positive test. I have spent some of my quarantine time strength training.
How long did it take you to get back to normal? Any long-lasting effects?

This is my experience too. Vaccinated and had all the symptoms you describe except lungs were unaffected. I'm on Day 20ish and still have headache most of the time and overall fatigue and just blah. I usually am at 40-50 mpw.
I didn't run at all during quarantine because I don't have a treadmill and felt awful. Spent the past week jogging 1-3 mi most days. I'm a little nervous about some of the cardiac issues so will continue a slow return. My HR is still crazy high for a super slow jog.
Hope we get better soon! My Oct marathon is a no go for sure.
I am on day 10 since the first symptoms. Most of them are gone. Legs still feel a bit tired and a bit congested. Running gets better every day. My resting HR hasn't turned back to normal but it is close. I have a 100 miler I still hope to do at the end of Sept.
Best of luck to you. Covid can have some crazy effects for some. I work in a hospital. I wonder how many patients' problems are caused by covid and we don't know it.

How much is your resting heart rate up? I don't hear much about that in media reports but then the average person who doesn't run likely has no idea of their usual RHR.
