Congratulations to both of you, sounds like a great run. My DW and I went to New Zealand a million years ago visiting the highlights of both the North and South Islands, but it was before I started doing marathons or ultra running. I'd love to go back there now and do a lot of the trails there. We visited Rotorua, my DW was pregnant with our first kid and the smells raised havoc with her morning sickness (fyi our kid is now 36 years old).

Yea we did both islands. Missed out on a few activities due to the cyclone and heavy rains etc. Not sure we'll ever make it there again, but it was fun.
