Yeah...I was still hoping for a beer sponsor to pull through. Let's keep that between us though.
Is this gonna be like Talladega Nights where you have to mention them during grace at each meal?
Congrats, Kelly!

BTW - I was just kidding
A beer sponsor would be ideal and fitting for me.
So just out of curiosity, how does this work if you don't like their products as much as a competitor's? What if you can't stomach some of their stuff? I mean I guess you could have turned them down if you didn't but doubtful.
It's very restrictive. I can't be seen using a competitors product. I don't have to use their entire product line, but I have to use some of it. Fortunately for me, I do very well on Hammer products. The trick is finding a way to use their drinks while running a race that may be serving Gatorade or some other sports drink. It can certainly be done, it just adds a level of complexity.

Drink water. Problem solved.
i really only drink sports drinks in marathons when I won't be taking in real food.

It's pretty easy to mix some Perpetuem into a handheld bottle filled with water from the aid stations.

I'm late to the party, but congratulations, Kelly. Does that mean any new tat work is in your future? Can you go shirtless?
“Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!
Funny you mention that. I can go shirtless but they still expect the "brand" to be visible and encourage the use of temporary tattoos in addition to wearing the logo on my shorts and hat. Unfortunately, I have very few places left to add their temporary tattoo. Most of that real estate has been dedicated to other artistic endeavors.
