Thread killer ..

    1. Both knees mostly my right knee

    2. Old injuries and new injuries , newest might have been running but I'm not really sure how it happened ( meniscus tear + loose body in joint =surgery )

    3. Partial replacement right knee

      2. Hokas (first time)/weak ankle and hole in the trail (reinjury)

        I think I'm out of the hole, but I'll answer this to show people there is hope!

         

        1. Double-sided achilles tendonitis/nosis

        2a. Too much intensity

        2b. Minimalistic shoes

        2c. Too fast ramp

        2d. Too high pain threshold

        3. Outlook is great! I haven't had issues in a few months, and am focusing on building the base back. Slowly, slowly getting there. Just need to recover my footsoles, which really aren't in the right shape to pound clay for hours.

         

        One thing I wanted to add: I wish I had taken the time to learn a new sport during my injury period. It is silly to live on the pacific coast and suck at both surfing and kitesurfing. Doing that is a missed opportunity and it would have taken my mind off running.
