Custer State Park is really nice, too. Very diverse landscapes and wildlife- should fit nicely between Rushmore and Wind Cave. Have a great trip!
Leave tomorrow, destination Custer, SD, highlights to include Mt Rushmore, Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP, that peak Mandy mentioned, and of course the George S. Mickelson Trail.
That's a definite. I also think the trailhead for Black Elk Mt is in the park. Lots of bison in the area, so I will take this nps.gov meme to heart
