No shopping for us. Slept in and now heading to the woods for a less windy run. Friday is usually an SRD for me, so nice when I can get in a pre-weekend run.  Trip #2 back to Baltimore (Dundalk area) for DW's family reunion. It's at an Italian restaurant, so probably won't be able to get a Guinness even if they do make it in Baltimore now.

Passed a Shopping Mall on our way home last night and it was packed.  Very sad that people have to work on Thanksgiving so others can shop 1 day earlier.

QOTD:  Off work today, and any shopping plans?  Yes. No.

    “Paralysis-to-50k” training plan is underway!

No shopping here.  Slept in also.  Have a 60 min run on the plan today so will do that later, otherwise since it's cold and rainy will just take it easy.

      qotd: Yes and No.

frigid here this morning, 3 degrees!

not going to warm up much, if the wind isn't blowing too bad will probably hit the trails w/ Tiny E for a few miles

watched the Irishman last night on Netflix, long movie (3 hours), but pretty good- based on true events of an Irish hitman who worked for the Mafia, star studded- Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, others

qotd: yes (I typically have every Friday off Smile). I'll probably peruse some sales on line, nothing in particular

More like “Blah Friday”. This is what I saw at 5am this morning after looking out the window at the drizzling rain.  I did 15 mi. Actually the drizzle felt good, humidity... not so much.

          qotd: No !!!!

No run (yet) today. Not sure what is in store. It's beautiful outside, so maybe it'll be a hike in rock creek with the dogs.

qotd: I bought a can opener at our hardware store. But I don't think that counts, right?

QOTD:  Working today doing End of Qtr Inventory.  I refuse to spend money today...

I'd rather this Chest cold would go away....

...I'd like to be in Northern Idaho still hunting through the powder snow looking for rutting whitetails.  ML's Brother is doing just that right now...I USED to do that when I was in college....

That's on our list. Supposed to be pretty good.  We just watched "End of the F***ing World" on NF's. Dark British comedy series that finished up in 2 sort seasons.  Kind of like Catastrophe for 18 year olds.

DC - you can count the can opener towards "Small Business Saturday" (unless you went to Lowes).

Looked like a Black Friday sale out on the AT this morning. Quite a few folks out there.

QOTD: Did buy me a pair of non-running shoes and my girls some swimsuits, but those were things we would have bought about now anyway.

That's what I was thinking. It's our locally owned Ace hardware. And we walked there. It's one of Chowder's favorite places (they welcome dogs and give treats and lots of attention).

Our Thanksgiving was a fail  plan was to cook and have a friend over.  Even though we had our own meal to make and were invited to two other turkey dinners we went to bed without having a turkey meal!  My husband has his own timeframes and managed to leave us high and dry.  At 9:30 he wanted to make our meal, we ended up cooking the shrimp.  He had many adult beverages and it was rather funny to hear him say over and over, I can’t go to bed hungry on thanksgiving!   Good news though is we ARE going to make that meal today.

                        Morning was typical coastal run.

Qotd:  working retail at the visitor center today  .....I live in a trailer, I have no room for anymore stuff.  But probably a good day to pick up a race with the discounts they are offering.

Watched the Irishman as well. I liked it.  Brought back fond memories of Casino, Goodfellas, and the Godfather movies.  Apparently there was a lot of CGI for the aging of the characters.  Good film.
