Endless trails
Cause there's more geese on that side.
It's a classic, and clean enough for all age groups.
The v formation is called an echelon. It is aerodynamically advantageous for those behind the leader. They take turns leading. There is no advantage to even arms...so there has been no natural selection for it.
All according to ask.com...killing time waiting at the vets office. How did we EVER live without Google?

Yep, here is what I found on the side of the road during my run today. Picked it up, no DVD, but immediately washed my hands

Is the picture not showing up on everyone else's screens?
4 am this morning on a muddy two track road that still has a couple feet of snow on each side about 1 mile from the nearest house I saw a white domestic turkey sitting on the side of the road in the dark. The thing waited till the dog was right beside it and started clucking and flapping it's wing, I don't know who it scared the shit out of more, me or the dog.
I think this is a 'use your imagination' scenario.

I saw a metal kitchen chair turned over in the woods. I'm not sure if the seat was still intact.

Must be my "parents" settings, they block some interesting content?
Run for fun.
... a racoon, maybe 15 feet from me. Such a cute animal!
After a stare-off, he turned and speedily climbed up a tree, at least 20 feet high.
I did not know racoons can climb trees?
This adds to my list of animals which unexpectedly can climb trees (6+ feet high): groundhogs, salamanders, mice, and - racoons!
... a Blue Heron. I don't know what it was doing there, as there are no lakes or ponds nearby, just a creek which holds only small fish (to sustain kingfishers, etc.). Maybe he was out on a trail flight, scouting a new area.
A dead chipmunk hanging g out of my dog's mouth. She was very proud of it. She is a serial killer of defenceless mammals. Bad dog!
Could have been my dog (many years ago). She would always dig up mice and eat them as a snack in between. Fun watching her hunting, when she dived into the mouse house with her snout first, then dug like crazy , until she had the mouse.
Once she caught a rabbit and killed it - not so much fun.
