re: http://runtri.blogspot.com/2007/05/triathlon-tips-for-faster-transitions.html "Within a ½ mile of the finish I remove my cycling gloves and put them on my aerobars.." Why remove the gloves at all? (I've been running with mine on.)

It's a 5k. It hurt like hell...then I tried to pick it up. The end.

... or why bother to put them on in the first place? I've been practicing all season without gloves, and frankly don't miss them a bit. They never helped on my tri bike anyway since I find them totally unnecessary in an areo position which I'm in for 98% of the time. BTW within 1/2 mile of the finish, I'm thinking about getting out of my bike shoes (barefoot) for transition I'm focused on me feet not my hands Big grin

Some of us low-end competitors lack aerobars, or aerobikes Smile
