I guess it's time to think about taking the next step. Anyone else scheming for a 70.3 in 2009? The base training starts now... Surprised

Slightly off topic... your avatar intrigues me. Is that a halloween run? I wish I could enlarge it somehow. Back on topic... I 'think' about a 70.3 every now and then, but I'll probably push it off until Spring 2010.

2012 Goals

Sub-1:42 for half marathon √ (1:41 at Disney, Jan '12)

Sub-22 for 5k √ (21:51 in Sept '12)

BQ for marathon- FAIL

I will attempt another one in 2009. Just trying to decide which one to go for. I won't go back to Boise, the water was just too cold for me. Maybe Lubbock or Austin. DB

I'd like to travel for one! Any excuse to use my freq flier miles is good. Pumpkinman looks good; it's in Sept, I think. Shellabree, yah, it's for a 5K last fall. There was this lady in a Cruella DeVille costume -- she just rocked! My 15-y-o son doesn't like it when I wear the green socks; he says it's too "emo." heehee
