      Hi Purdey

May - Grand Union Canal Race 145 - No / Yes

I forgot to add that (if all goes well, and I manage to get in...) I will be attempting the Tooting 24hr next year (late Sep/early Oct).

There is an amount of unfinished business on that track. I had a horrible failure in 2009 and spent about 8hrs off the track in total.

In fact - this year's race is this weekend.

I am yet to get mine sorted as there are quite a few options but I may well go for Tooting as well. There has been a conversation about GUCR but I honestly don't think I will ever get to that distance.

I want to play by the rules of  Pedestrianism and try and become a Centurion (100 miles under 24 hours) in which Tooting is a good venue but one place that excite me is SDW 100

          Into the wild

Next year's SDW is to be held in July good for daylight but possibly a hot one!

            Shut up and run

              Provisional plans are

              Country 2 Capitral 45 - Jan

London 50k or Thames Trot 50 - Feb

              Free - Mar

London Mara (If i get in) - Apr

Housman 100 (although bit close to BGR so alternative race might be needed)  - May

              Bob Graham Attempt - June

              Free - Jul

              Ridgeway 85 (STC) - Aug

A few BGR recces thrown in as well :-)

                Gentle men and gentle ladies,

'tis done, I have entered the Thames Trot on 5th February 2010. It is perfect as I have friends who live in Abingdon who will house me overnight.

I am quite chuffed now as this gives me a real focus over the winter period and get me on the running track for interval and speed work

A great thinking plan as I prepare to head to the pub!

                  Winter tanners - yes

                  C2C - yes

                  Thames trot - yes

Track races - surely only for the insane

GUCR and Housman are at the same time......so not sure about which but one of the two

SDW....I totally forgot about this......what a good call!!

And some old favourites...Downland Ultra, South Downs Marathon, Steyning Stinger, 3FM

And back to the Ridgeway to do a sub 20

but it's off to the pub now and contemplate a long run this weekend as I haven't done more than a half since the Ridgeway
