Wow, that's crazy.  Chicago went from 32 days in 2010 to 5 days in 2011.  I guess a 1-day sell out is definitely a possibility.  Uggh,

Heartwrenching.  It's hard for a noob to commit to a October race on the first of February, 8 months ahead.  But I guess that's what the popular race is driving to. 

It was bad enough registering for my local race 5 months in advance.     But that one was a heckuva lot more impulsive.
