I saw that someone asked about this. I did a search for "signature" in the forums because I was sure someone asked before.
The short answer is no, the ticker won't show in the signature section.

looks like it will however post in the body of the message if HTML is turned on. don't know if there is a way to toggle html in the signature.

No problem. I just remembered that someone else had asked about it.
Eric has disallowed the img tag in the signature so I don't think you can trigger it.
