This morning's run extended my streak to 60 straight days of running. My current running schedule consists of three goals, all of which combine to make for some very enjoyable running. Those three goals are: 1) Run every day; 2) Build up mileage; and 3) Keep the pace slow for heart rate training. What is nice is that these three goals complement each other extremely well in that heart rate training is more effective at higher mileage (and also easier on the body by keeping the pace slow despite the higher mileage). And the best way to build up mileage is to run every day. I'm loving it. Happy streaking!

Jeff, I just noticed the Charles DeMar quote in your signature line. Hilarious! As you know, Charles DeMar was no dummy. If we could channel some of his amazing insights in skiing the K-12 into running, watch out!

Yeah, and just think how fast we would all run if all races were downhill like the K-12. You've made me want to go home and watch that movie tonight.
