OK, I am not a mother, I am not even a female. Never-the-less, I thought that this article in the NY Times was fun to read.

I remember that I stopped running when my younger daughter turned 2. There was just too much going on in my life that I had to stop.

18 years later she asked me to run a 5K trail race with her and, suddenly, I was running again. Bother of my daughters have been running ever since. This has been a nice way to stay connected.

My last race with my younger daughter was the Hot Chocolate Run in Dec, 2018. I hope to run many more races with them.
