Who's in?
"Able to function despite imminent catastrophe"
"The most common question from potential entrants is 'I do not know if I can do this' to which I usually answer, 'that's the whole point'.--Paul Charteris, Tarawera Ultramarathon RD.
"They just couldn't believe that somebody would do all that running for no reason."--Forrest Gump
Boston Marathon 15 April
Big Sur Marathon 28 April
Bighorn 50 Mile 15 June
Tahoe Rim Trail 100M 20/21 July
"Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men's blood." -Daniel Burnham
third time the charm, I hope. Still, $340 for a race is a lot.
I wonder why they have the Glacial Trail 50K on the list and not the Glacial Trail 50 Mile?

Looks to me like it's the 50 miler. No 50k is a qualifier.
Bacon Party!
In.
But, WTF am I going to do with a running skirt?
Liz
pace sera, sera
Eye of Sauron
Yeah, my bet is that this is simply a misprint.
I'll take someone's skirt.
Edit: wait, that looks worse than I intended for real.
And once again Mr. Wizard (aka: Stevie Ray) explains the internet.
Burn it, I hope. I picked men's shorts. I felt kinda pukey when I saw that option.
I suspect I'm too small for the men's shots. Ditto the unisex small jacket.
Could burn the skirt, but it's plastic ... might kill me.
(As if any of this is likely to become an issue!)
When I did the lottery - The only choice from the drop down was Glacial Trail 50k. The list of qualifying races elsewhere had the 50 miler. I did send then a note to bring to their attention, so maybe they have corrected already.
I figure I would pull a WG - Sign up when I really do not want to run and anger the running gods so they pick me in the lottery and punish me by making me figure it out.
It is Glacial Trail 50 Miler ... Now.
I was looking at how everyone is linked to their ultra-signup stats - That is nice. But what I noticed is you could run a 23 hour Wester states and pick upa 60% score for it.
In. I couldn't believe it, but it is $25 cheaper than last year.
It's going to be a 93-miler this time.
I figure it is a race like Boston - Something to do once and experience ... unless I screw it up like Leadville and then I might have to do it a second time ~ Maybe when I am older and wiser ... like 65+ YO
I'm entered in lottery and will have my name in the "hat" four times.
