.. 22:02 is not blowing the doors off anything, but it was good for me. And I destroyed four pairs of socks in the process. That course is this weird sand grit. Not a fan.
22:02 is a good time for 100mi. Congratulations!!
I remember them complaining about the sand last year, and they thought the Dome in Alaska would fix that - until they realized it was a thin layer of whatever looking like a track on cement.

I'm happy with it. Also, I know I hit 100 even (using how they measured the course) sub 22. My official mileage for the previous lap was 99.73, right around 21:49. Cool. That said, flat running? No gracias. Hills mo bettah.
That many loops gave my garmin lots of incremental error... when it finally pooped out around the 19 hour mark, I was several miles off. Kind of fun.Good luck tomorrow, Bob!
