Beryl - amazing stuff.
Krash - how is the FA transition going? I'm starting to get there I think!
Pain is my friend
Today is day 21 of FA. Getting things down. Starting to add more miles and recover well. Sleeping better and dropping pounds. Don’t have much more I can drop. Thanks for checking in on me.

Excellent - sounds like you are nailing it.
Are we there, yet?
Anyone else check the Top 24-hour finishers for 2020 in the year end wrap up in the latest Ultrarunning Magazine? I saw a couple RA names on it: Krash and bhearn.

Problem Child
So I'm FINALLY making myself put together that video from that 50k I did at that Lake Tahoe place (Marlette Lake 50k) so once I finish it up I'll post the link. The race is open, and I'd recommend it if you want a good 50k. Social distance was well handled and it was the first race I'd done since COVID 19 shut everything down. Parts of it touch the Tahoe 200 and/or the Tahoe Rim Trial 100 miler, but it's easier than those two races.
Many of us aren't sure what the hell point you are trying to make and no matter how we guess, it always seems to be something else. Which usually means a person is doing it on purpose.

I bet that would be a pretty race. I've done the TRT 50 a couple times and I'm sure I'll do it again, love that area. I want to do some high altitude running to prep for Beaverhead, July 10 on the Continental Divide trail (8-9k altitude), but I'll probably be going up to Tahoe area on my own to do that.
Alan, nice 50k and pretty snow pic!
nOOky, saw that you're in for Mountain Lakes, cool!
Around 50 miles this week, some vert but not enough to total up and post.

Lackluster week of 25 miles. Sore and fatigued from work. Did have 2 workouts where I hit sub 8mm, so that was good.
Nice long run Alan.
12-23 Last One Standing - Finished 102 miles

Super speedy!
Easy 62 miles and 7k vert last week. Started my long run of 20 miles Saturday at 3 am. Finish just before the nasty rain and snow started. Just hit my 28 th day FA. Ran my 4 hour long run with no food. Just water. Felt great afterwards.

I might hit 8 mm running downhill with a tailwind for 1 mile.
Last time I ran an 8:00 mile was 8 years ago, on 2/24/13 to be precise, when I ran 7:59.83 electronically time on a track.
Thanks guys. I need a 7:46 pace for BQ and a 7:26 for a PR. I think I can at least go for the BQ in October if I can be more consistent.
Krash. Nice week. The weather must be challenging up north.
