Badwater 2012 (Read 510 times)

    Morton 14:37 at Darwin.  Wow!

Ozwaldo - 15:22 at 90 miles, Zach 15:58 at 90 miles.  Looks like Zach may be catching up.

Morton through Lone Pine @ 20:05.  Faster pace than the last 2 check points.

FYI...from portal road (131) to the finish, it historically takes the front runners 60-65 minutes.  It will be interesting to see if Morton has a shot at the CR at the next checkpoint.

Oswaldo through Lone Pine in 20:45.  Only five minutes slower than his time from when he won last year.

Here are Nunes' splits from CR.  Morton 30 minutes behind at Lone Pine.  We'll see what he has left.

Still don't see this in the table.  Is this a twitter update?

Yes, it is from Twitter. I'm too twitchy to wait for them to update.

I don't know how to twitter.  If you can check on individuals can you see if BIB 91 is through PS yet?

You can't check on individuals. People who are there just post updates of what they see (using hashtags aka #). Twitter has been great to follow a ton of races. Go to www.twitter.com. You don't need an account. In the search box (I think there is a magnifying glass symbol for it) just type bw135. That's the hashtag people are using for this race. Up will pop all sorts of stuff.

Whoa.  My friend Claude seems to be in again.  His Stovepipe time makes no sense (37:00), but he made it through Panamint (21:07).  Yay!

Hey I just noticed that Dean was running.  I haven't checked in on ultralist for a few days but I'm surprised this isn't causing more of a stir Wink

Well, I did post it in the third post of this thread :-).

He has fallen off a bit, but he's doing pretty well.  I saw him 3 weeks ago at Seattle Rock N Roll. It did not occur to me that he'd be going back to Badwater.

Pam Reed is there too, of course (and 2nd female right now).  I wonder if they talked.

                        Edit: Go Sumie!

Summary hasn't been updated for a while but I clicked on Oswaldo's name and it shows him through Portal Road @ 22:35.  Doesn't show that for Morton yet.  Did he get passed?

                          Nevermind.  SIte is wonky...

Morton hit Portal at 14:00.  That's according to the site.

That is, of course, BS :-)

                              Nice trick.

Nah, seriously.  If you click on Morton's name to get his details, they've plugged in a 14:00 for Portal.
