moxie - a bump bump bump party sounds like a baby shower. :P

spike - there are so many good resources online about strength training that not knowing what to do really isn't an excuse.  I love running with people but haaaaaaaaate strength training with people, even with the bonus of having a spotter.

Well O and M both slept past 8am, and woke up healthy! YAY.

moxie - I sent my kids to the dayhome many a day I was off over Christmas, it was paid for and allowed me to get a lot done.  Sweet on the bump bump party!

spike - I think M is just around 27 lbs too, at this rate, she's going to be in a carseat for a loooong time.  Once you go to the gym a few times and get comfortable I think you'll be fine.

RG - I do get sciatic/piriformis issues, and my pelvis will go out, I should just go to the chiro and get it checked, it's just hard to schedule everything.  You should have a look at that mask I linked, it has a nose hole so you can still get fresh air - I pull it down if it's not brutally cold but when it's really cold the nose hole makes it bearable.  I haven't taken a TRX class, but do 3 different ab exercises myself that target, lower, upper and obliques.  Love the TRX!

Zorbs- I know its good for me and I need to do it, but I have had a hard time making myself like ST. Its like a New Years resolution, I never stick to it. I need to do squats to help out my flat booty lol

spike - you don't have to like it, you just have to do it. Like cleaning the bathroom, laundry, flossing your teeth...do it because you have to.

Kant - The winter CSA is both root veggies and some greenhouse stuff. And we also get an egg share. The variety is not as fun as it is with the summer CSA, but it's still good. Hmm...I pickled green beans and everyone else loved them but I wasn't sold on the texture either. Maybe I'd better do a small batch of pickled carrots just in case

moxie/spike - I recently finished watching all of Dexter. I thought S5 with Julia Stiles was good, S6 was boring, S7 was good and S8 was okay but I hated the ended. I'll be curious to hear what you both think once you're done!

Zorbs- I'm gping to borroe your pep talk to spike Smile I need to ST

mixie- this the only dog I've ever had that is a wimp about the weather, mind you she is a Louisiana ditch dog living in canada.  She isn't exactly built for the cold. Brr  it's. COld where you are.  Cute about your bump party.  I agree w zorbs, it sounds like a baby shower lol.

spike-  I would leave her, but she drives me nuts and becomes distructive if she doesn't excersize.  she actually ran home the other day when I was tying my shoe.  I think it was -37. A weighs 26lbs, has since the fall, she will be 1 on thursday. Lol  I don't keno where to start with ST either.  im on season 5 of Dexter too!  I started watching it when it started but when I moved in with DH we cancelled cable so I haven't seen it in years.

Rg- glad you had a nice run outside.

Ernie-  I need to look into a CSA around here.  An egg share would be awesome!

Br- nap strike.  Ugg!  she will eventually sleep again, right?

rr/Er- too cold to run with A.  The dog shredded the hot water bottle.  Did my plank of the day. At be will try the bug thing.  Hoping to get a run in if DH gets home early enough.  He's super busy this week catching up from the holidays.  Or maybe a hot yoga class tonight.  Mostly I go for the heat and silence Smile

Kant- we are watching on Netflix, we don't have TV.   My dog is a jerk if she doesn't exercise, so I feel your pain. Can you take her someplace with wide open spaces to go romp/chase a frisbee?
