It was 31F here this morning!!! Yesterday we spent a couple of hours covering up the tender plants and citrus outside. I hope my romaine lettuce was ok.

Have fun at Dino Valley State Park!!! We were there a year ago. Looks like the creek is really low so you can see the prints much better. Beautiful area. Have a great race!
Good morning! It has been cold here all week. Speaking of colds, I have one. And it sucks. Between that, the on again off again achilles pain, the part where I'm under trained, and the fact that the race offers refunds, I decided not to run Dino Valley. Without the cold, I'd still drive up to see the girls, but I shouldn't be spreading my germs around a bunch of runners that are already stressing their immune systems. So no plans this weekend for me. Cold is in my head, not my chest, so I'll go for a little run in a bit. Running seems to help at the time, but then I feel crappy later in the day.
