First of all, having you ladies as friends is such a wonderful thing, thank you all.
Laura, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope you have a fantastic day with friends and family.
My friends forever is my GF Krissy. We met in London over 30 yrs ago and she is one of those forever girls in my life. She lives in Oregon and is here in San Antonio and Austin for the weekend, and I get to spend all weekend with her and her family. I haven't seen them in 6 yrs. She is a bestie.
Recovering well, except for my big toe/nail. It's ugly. Uglier as I dropped a camp chair smack dab on it. OUCH.

Laura, no. He's 58 today. I however will be 55 next weekend
We are under a wind advisory with 45-50mph gusts during the race. I would be a DNS already if not for hubby, but he sounded like FTS. We also have a 71% chance of rain (which does not bother me, but the wind wrecks my lungs and half of the race is at a headwind). So, stay tuned.
