    WINE o'clock somewhere!

      From yesterday.

Margaret, has the rain stopped?  Seems like you guys have had enough.

Karen, woot on the cars.  Hope you get what you want.

Kathi, good on the trail race.

Damaris, hope your 8 went well.

Lori, 15 on the treadmill is fantastic.  Might not have been fun, but quite an accomplishment.

Got up around 8 yesterday and hopped in the car and drove back, about 3.5 hours, total torture.  I hate that drive.  Feet feel great, go figure...  Legs are appropriately sore for 22 miles, nothing bad.  Will likely go out for a relaxed walk later.  I have a training plan set up for the next 4 weeks.  Curious how it will go, I think it is a bit light.  We will re-evaluate next week.  I have decided I want to do a race on Mar 4th, maybe 25K??  I would like to get back on a trail and see how it goes.  And try different shoes out.

Off today, tomorrow, and Wed.  Dropping the car off tomorrow to replace the windshield.  It has to be dropped off for recalibration as the speed is projected on the windshield.  What a pain.  I'll have to Uber back and forth as it is too far away to run to like Kathi did.

Not much else.  Perhaps TRY to read some, I got "Do Hard Things."  Sounded interesting.

      Have a good Monday all.

Rest day for me after two days of running. A little achy this morning but nothing ridiculous. Spent the morning running errands and planning on a walk with DH this afternoon. Maybe some kettlebells. I have some chores to do and a book to finish reading - retired life is tough. Ha.

Kathryn, glad you're feeling good after the race this weekend.

          Damaris, enjoy pilates.

So looks like everyone has some form of non-running pr rest day today.

Yep, rest day for me too!

Nice sunny day here.  Worked and did some clean up around the yard.  Waiting to hear about my RC friend's surgery today to remove the brain tumor.  Procedure estimated to take 4-6 hours.
