It's only 10am and my fun for the day is done. I had my first ever colonoscopy and was a bit nervous about it. Too many years ago my Dad had one and had ALOT of polyps and I was told to get one then. Well, 10 yrs later, I finally did. Clean as a whistle, not one polyp, all looked good. 10 yrs till the next. Hopefully they'll have better prep by then. That shit was NASTY! (Plenvu)
I didn't have the energy to run early in the week, then yesterday was prep day. No food and exercise don't work for me. I might try for an easy walk tonight. 11 miles tomorrow if I can manage them all without anything this week.
Hallmark day by the looks of it since I am supposed to take it easy. Wine later. Yum.
Have a TGIF all.

Glad it went well, Kat.
RD for me.
Damaris
SRD for me too. Bailed on yesterday’s run because of the weather. I don’t want the bronchitis to come back. Signed up for a women’s trail work day at Muir Woods tomorrow. Free parking and entry. Otherwise Muir Woods is too much trouble to visit, at least in the weekend. Crowded and busy, no parking, and $15 entry fee (unless you run in the back way).
Kat, yay for no polyps!
Damaris, enjoy the RD.
5/11/24 Grizzly Peak Marathon, Berkeley, CA
7/20/24 Tahoe Rim Trail 56 miler, NV
9/21/24 Mountain Lakes 100, OR
Enjoy the RD day Damaris.
Margaret, enjoy your work day!
3 easy/slow miles just to get out. Wine now, movie soon. (Hallmark...)
Just under 8 miles after work. More rain, although not much and lots of wind.
KatS, glad all was clear.
Docket, enjoy your rest day.
GatbsyBird, $15 entry? Wow, that seems really high.
Plus $10 to park or $4 if you take the shuttle from Sausalito, but I think those fees are split with an outside vendor. They can charge pretty much whatever since demand seems unlimited. Guessing that NPS is subsidizing other things through this one park. Easy to get to Muir Woods by running or hiking, if you don’t mind a little exertion. I’ll add that there are lots of other great places to see redwoods too.
