Aimed for a 3:15 with Karen. She slowed down a bit after about 15 miles, so I decided to keep up the pace and managed negative splits. Felt strong all the way to the end. A good run for me. A bad day for all of us marathoners & spectators. So grateful I was with a group of strong runners who were all out of harm's way.
