Dammit run. The three bitches were hell. Almost faceplanted a couple times flying down the mountain after the climb. Pretty fun race. A big plus is that it only cost $20 day of race to register. $40 if you wanted a Tshirt - I passed.
This race is billed as a 5 miler but it's .2 mile long. The mile markers were all about 1/4 mile long so the error was made in the first part of the course. I think the discrepancy is at the on LGHS track. They make you do one lap of the track before you take off on the trails. I bet they don't account for that lap in the race distance.
Saw John Pettinichio during the first part of the race. We ran together until the first hill when he fell behind. He ended up at 35:58, he was 1 second ahead of me at the San Ramon 5K back in July.
