Heh. I thought I faded big time at the end (and I did) but it really wasn't as bad as I thought. I set out to run 6:20 and then pick it up on the last two miles to the finish but I couldn't even hold 6:20's. Wasn't as hot as it was supposed to be but I think it was enough to affect me. How much ... who knows. Anyway it's at least a good workout.
That last interval was the last 1/2 mile. This race has an official marker at the 1/2 mile mark AND the 9 1/2 mile mark. I missed the 1st 1/2 mile and the first mile but got the rest of them.
