Messed up on choice of course for this one. I chose Shoreline because it's flat and I thought I'd get a good read on effort at 6:50 pace. Didn't count on very strong wind. The first 4.5 miles of this run was into a VERY strong wind. It was all I could do to hold a 7-7:05 pace and I felt like I was racing. When I turned around I was gassed and barely able to hold 6:50 even with the wind at my back. Not sure what to think now ..... Am I able to run 6:50 or not? Because of that wind I don't know. Legs are feeling this one. Hope I get my running legs back before the race.
