Warm day.
When I got to the trail section of this race as I turned the corner on the trail a bobcat crossed about 15 feet in front of me. Scared me some, I turned around for my 'backup' but there was no one there. None of the other Douglass runners were close enough! The bobcat crossed the trail, looked at me and then jumped over the black wrought iron fence. I picked it up a little to get out of there!
Slower than I wanted and thought I could run.
