Notes
Damn trail races! drizzly, steep, miserable footing, rocks, ruts, steep hills, grrr. Caught a rock with my foot running downhill fast about mile 7, spectacular landing scraping myself more on the rocks sliding downhill. Next aid station 3 miles away, so I ran there dripping blood down each leg and each forearm. Stayed and washed most of the grit and dirt and blood off at that stop, before running it in. I was pretty cautious on the downhills then, and of course my grapefruit sized swollen right knee slowed me some too. 1st in age group award, won a plaque and some moeben sleeves.
