Notes

A beautiful swim today during my lunch hour. I had to swim as I was feeling pretty down with work and emotional and physcial tiredness. It was so relaxing. . . . .therapy for the soul. It did help. I swam well and strong alternating between Front Crawl and Back Stroke. I did almost 40 lengths in approx. 25 min. I could feel the right lower leg even in the water as I could not do the leg kick as usual. I am normally a strong swimmer and I rely on technique rather than battling against the water but today I was feeling the weakness and the weight of the lower part of the let near the Achilles. This tells me a lot. So, I need to wathc especially during next week's 9 mile race. I hope to have recovered for the race as I have been waiting for 18 yrs to do the Moffat race. Franc feels that I am emotionally ready now. 18 years ago I was the 2nd lady there and MOFFAT IS ONE AND ONLY.
