Notes
It was dark and scary beyond the 1st mile. I was running in pure darkness when I realised there was a group of 15 young men (15 to 25yrs)t he middle of nowhere. I have recently discovered that there has been some form of camping around out area what they are called 'Travellers'. I was really anxious meeting the group of them and lucky enough that a car with it's lights on slowed down so I kept running faster and faster to ensure I got away from them while the car was following me. What a Chase this was. It felt as I was running for my life. They looked at me mattering something but I made sure I would slow down the passing car on the narrow road so to distant myself from them. I got a fright. It might have been nothing but I sensed not good feelings about them. This is why I run my 2nd mile a lot faster than usual. CS was bothering me a bit but it did not matter at the time.
I think this may be then last run in the dark nights around rural areas. It is too risky. I will definitely not be able to run from next week onwards due to the clock change.
